Renegade Recon Mission Statement

For some people, war gaming is the absolute source of excitement and fulfillment. It does not matter really what in war gaming makes them tick – there are as many tastes as there are people. What matters is that people have always been fond of war gaming, after all its all natural and you do what is natural for you.

Most of the today's societies see war gaming undesirable or even unacceptable. No surprise since many of us could not ever expect to be able to talk about war gaming hobbies openly in any constructive way.

For us airsoft and airsoft guns are the perfect tools to do what we always wanted to do. It is sure that everyone has played ”airsoft” at some point when they were kids, but just substituting the guns and gear for something less fancy like wooden guns. Well, that was then and now our younger visitors and members might never have to go that way since they already have better with airsoft and paintball guns.

More enjoyment through development
Whatever you enjoy about airsoft and airsoft guns; speed, adrenaline, guns, tactics, military gear, friendships, teamwork, etc. there can never be enough. You can't necessarily be perfect, but you can always aim higher. Airsoft is a game and it should stay as a game, but there comes a limit when aimless gaming among one hundred others just starts sap your excitement. Once you have tasted something better you don't want to settle for less anymore. Just one of the reasons why many MilSim scenario gamers don't go back to normal weekend skirmishes that often as they used to.

This is what where we hope to contribute. Getting more out of the game through development and information.

In-depth Recon
One of the aspects for our mission is to provide, when situation calls for it or so-called ”target of opportunity” emerges, in-depth recon to issues that we feel are of importance at the present time.

Community & Team spirit
By proving community services in and off the internet we hope to pull together airsoft people into to the same table. If you are just looking to get in the game you are as just welcomed as someone who has been around for four decades – it does not matter. When there is community, spirit is needed too. For the sake of team spirit, lets avoid eliticism and arrogance in its all forms.

Openness
Here at RR, we look to keep things open for everyone without politics, prejudice or discrimination. When you get in, consider yourself as a member. Your only obligation is to abide by the set rules.

Manners
While it might sound harsh, but in this day and era of fast growing internet, lets make one thing clear from the beginning. No matter what it is, you just can't make everyone happy. You are welcomed and entitled to tell your opinions in sensible ways, but we do not tolerate bitches here. Whatever it is and like it says, if you don't like us or another member to that matter, just stay away and take your bitching elsewhere.

Because of this our discussion forums are strictly regulated to avoid any issues when it comes to the manners and respect towards other members.

Renegade Recon® FAQ
Registration & Player accounts, last update 11-14-04

Registration to RR website is fairly straightforward process. Fill out the form, check the Terms and Conditions and submit the registration.

"Callsign": During the registration you will be asked to input your preferred call sign. Call sign will be always displayed to the other members in discussion area and in your player profile. Try to make your call sign as unique as possible with use of numbers or rare words. For example call sign "Sniper" is example of poor call sign where as "wingzero1216" is example of better one. There has been several reports of inability to access the website when the same call sign is shared by two or more users.

Image: Please note that the image you submit during the registration will be your Avatar (displayed in profile & discussion forums). Please keep your main (avatar) image dimensions small to allow them to be displayed in discussion area posts. The recommended size is 71 pixels in height and 71 pixels in width.

Here are some examples of good main (avatar) images:
