Tokyo Marui G36 and G3-series update

Real H&K G36E
For some time there has been confusion about what Tokyo Marui AEGs have exactly went out of production. Or have they? They are still in the brand new Marui catalogue of 2004. What about new G36 versions that many people would like to see? We had opportunity to talk to one of the Marui manufacturing division staffs some time ago (other parts of discussion might be released in conjuction with other articles).
RR: "Are you going to release new version of G36 AEG?"
TM: "The long one?"
RR: "Yes."
TM: "We have some plans for the long version of G36 and we would like to release it, but no final decision has been made yet."
We also talked about the G3-series modernization in wake of G3 SAS release and TM representative did confirm that they will keep making MC51 and G3 SG-1. It was confirmed that G3A3 and A4 might be brought back, but the fact (for Tokyo Marui) is that G3 rifles are not popular in Japan.
Situation is same with the CAR-15 and XM177E2 AEGs - they not made at the moment, but might be brought back at some point by Marui.
Tokyo Marui manufacturing staff were emphasizing that their focus is now on bringing AEGs that are the most skirmashable, in other words the best choice for active players. Hence the recent G3 SAS, SG552 SEALS and M733 releases have design features, such as reinforced front assemblys and tightened fit of the parts, that are made only the players in mind.
